The interRAI Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCF) Assessment System is a comprehensive, standardized system for evaluating the needs, strengths, and preferences of persons in chronic care and nursing home institutional settings. Completing an LTCF assessment enables a health care provider to assess key domains of function, mental and physical health, social support, and service use.

About the Additional Materials

This book (published in 2019, version 9.1.3) includes additional materials that were not part of the previous edition (published 2011, version 9.1.2). These additional materials begin with an Errata and Addenda document that lists changes, updates, or additions to the LTCF 9.1.2 manual and assessment form. Following the Errata and Addenda document is a revised assessment form in which the errata/addenda have been implemented. Please note that this revised assessment form version 9.1.3 is included here in addition to the original version 9.1.2.
