SESAP 19

Select from nine modules based on personal preferences and learning goals, including abdomen; alimentary tract; breast; emergency general surgery; endocrine; legal, ethics, quality, and safety; perioperative care; surgical critical care; and trauma. SESAP 19 Advanced

SESAP 19 Advanced modules build on SESAP 19 content and specifically focus on advanced clinical problems involving specialized and nuanced content within complex and emerging topics. Released in 2025, the SESAP 19 Advanced modules include 329 case-based questions across six modules including abdomen and alimentary tract; breast; endocrine; melanoma, skin, sarcoma; surgical critical care; and trauma and emergency general surgery. The format and features are similar to SESAP 19, with the addition of “Controversial Items” at the end of each module. “Controversial Items” present complex cases where different approaches may be valid and discuss the current evidence for each approach.
