The “Nutrition and Complementary Medicine in Cancer: An Interdisciplinary Approach” is the twenty seventh volume of the “Interdisciplinary Cancer Research” series, publishes comprehensive volume on nutrition and complementary medicine in cancer. The volume starts with a chapter on fecal microbiota transplantation and cancer immunotherapy, followed by another chapter on the role of tumor microenvironment in the microbiome and innate immunity. After discussion on interplay of nutrigenomics and cancer research, the role of nutrition in cancer as well as insights on dietary anticancer products are explained. Omega 3 dietary intervention, consumption of sugars, organoselenium compounds, anthocyanins, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are the subjects of other chapters. The second part of the volume focuses on complementary and alternative medicine.
