This book presents the thoroughly revised and updated text which has been written in a simple and lucid language with the major goal to serve as a primary textbook to those studying basic courses in nutrition as also the students of BSc (nursing). Besides, it will also prove useful to the students of home science, food science and food technology, etc. to describe and illustrate general aspects of nutrition that forms a part of their course curriculum.
