The present volume is a holistic approach in this direction with emphasis on matter of worldwide concern. This volume includes papers on agriculture microbiology radioactive waste forestry mining pest management toxicity wild life and rural upgradation. There is a perennial problem for authors in science as to whether only to summarize the existing knowledge or to deal with the detailed evidence leading to conclusion. Second approach has been preferred in the present volume.
